Iona Tweedie is the founder of Tweedie & Tweedie a unique tailoring business that combines art with couture clothing in the form of beautiful quilted, reversible jackets and coats all hand made from sustainable fabrics.

Tweedie & Tweedie creates wearable art and every piece made is entirely unique whether it be a custom printed or patchwork remnant jacket or a couture, traditionally tailored coat. Tweedie & Tweedie's pieces are eccentric. colourful, elegant and long-lasting. Something Iona aspires to herself.

Iona (known to her friends as Tweedie) grew up in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. This is where the love of making clothes began at the age of 14. In 2018 Tweedie went to Winchester School of Art and studied Fashion and Textiles. With the interesting situation of graduating in 2020 in the first lockdown, a slight anticlimax, the idea of Tweedie & Tweedie was created. Taking things into her own hands and having freedom to create using the skills and traditional techniques learnt at Winchester seemed like the best idea.
